Philipp Schmid

Philipp received a bachelor's degree in geography as well as a bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Bern and a master's degree in physics from EPFL in Lausanne, Switzerland. Within his master's thesis conducted in collaboration with the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology he determined wet radome losses of operational C-band radars by analytically and experimentally investigating the transmission loss and the increase in receiver noise caused by a the abundance of water on the radome. At Palindrome Remote Sensing he develops automated calibration procedures for our target simulators.
