Andreas Leuenberger

Andreas studied electrical engineering at the ETH in Zurich and received his diploma in 1997. He worked as an engineer at different private companies in Switzerland, dealing with the development and optimization of signal processing algorithms, control engineering as well as hard- and software developments for air traffic control systems. From 2007 to 2009 he studied climate sciences at the University of Bern, Switzerland and received his M.Sc. in climate sciences with special qualifications in Atmospheric Science with a thesis on precipitation measurements with microwave sensors. He was a radar scientist at the Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology MeteoSwiss in Locarno, Switzerland, where he developed weather radar signal processing algorithms, radar control software as well as an instrument to monitor and characterize radar pulses. He joined Palindrome RS in 2018.
