The International Collaborative Experiments for Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic winter games (ICE-POP2018) is an international measurement campaign organized by the Korean Meteorological Administration and supported by the World Meteorological Organisation WMO aiming to collect an unprecedented data set on winter clouds and precipitation for weather forecasting during the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang in February-March 2018.
In collaboration with researchers from EPFL Palindrome Remote Sensing will set-up its radar target simulator prototype in order to conduct performance tests with the weather radars that were installed specifically for this experiment.
